Finishing a basement with drainage system

This is my first post, but I've lurked for a long time on The Old House and Cooking. I've been reading over here as we get ready to finish our basement.

Last summer we had a sump pump and drain along the interior perimeter installed. We were advised by the company that installed it to hang a 6mil vapor barrier with the bottom edge tucked into the drain before putting up the perimeter walls and install the studs several inches from the drain.

Are there any good resources, books, websites, videos, etc. for this? We have many questions about the particulars.... like what it is the best way to box in the windows if the wall is 4 inches from the foundation? How do we install the vapor barrier around the window? What are our options for creating an access in the wall so we can do the annual maintenance on the drain? Do we need to frame and finish the whole basement, or could we leave some perimeter walls (i.e. the utility room) unfinished?

Any advice or direction about where to look would be greatly appreciated.
