Building a wall in my unfinished basement

Posted by drewa (My Page) on

We are planning to add a wall bisecting our basement pretty much in half. The problem is, the house is old and the plumbing was run underneath the joists along with the Heating and A/C vents. The problem comes from having no way to attach the wall to the joists overhead due to all of the things in the way. Is there any way to do this?
