Anyone care to critique my new floorplan? The whole left side of the basement is currently unfinished and wide open. There is no guest room in the rec room area. Washer/dryer/laundry tub are currently where I've put the shower/vanity.
The big question is concerning the moving of the washer/dryer to beside the stairs. Reasoning behind that being that we retain all of our storage/workshop space, create a mudroom area across from the washer/dryer. We would have to get the gas line moved for the washer/dryer -- how much should we expect to pay, roughly?
If we keep the washer/dryer where they are I have NO clue where in the unfinished area to put the new bathroom and still get the mudroom/laundry rm and retain our storage space. Is it bad that guests have to walk through the laundry room to the bathroom? The mudroom would also have no door to the rec room. Ideas?
