| We are finishing part of our basement and are planning to use carpeting. What kind of padding should we use? 6#? 8#? or the special kind for basements that supposedly have a moisture barrier?
Thanks for your tips! I'm busy reading all the other similar threads as we speak, but was wondering about this specific issue.... |

| The special kinds for basements would make the most sense. I wouldn't put any kind of fabric directly on the floor without moisture protection. |
