| ok so i live in a windowless room in the basement i'd like to have sum plants but since i dont get ne sun light is there sum kinda artificia light that would make a plant grow? |

| you can get what you are looking for at Home Depot or Lowes. the security lights are what you are needing. either high pressure sodium, metal halide, or the self-ballasted flouros will work. some plants need both the sodium & either the halide or fluorescents. hydroponic gardening stores sell basically the same things at a REALLY nice markup. make sure your electrical system can take the extra load, or run a new circuit just for them. the fluoros generate virtually NO heat compared to the other 2 types i mentioned. cheap-poor |
