Sump pit sonitube or one piece pit liner?

A new slant on the pit issue. My pit is always partially filled with water. I want to replace the sonitube about 16x30 inches. Is it best to replace it with the same thing or should I use an actual pitliner? I think I'd prefer the all one piece liner so that I avoid the typical muck. Is one better than another? Also I don't like the idea of water lurking around under the basement slab. Thoughts please.

Are you sure you have sonitube?
It is not really designed for long term water immersion.
If you have corrugated plastic tube the only difference with a real pit liner is the bottom.
