Sump pump, wood paneled basement

We just purchased a home with a finished basement and a sump pump in the garage. The sump pump is broken so I'm assuming that we have a plumber come take a look to see exactly what kind of system we need/have? There hasn't been water in the garage during rain, but I think there might be some underground drain system the sump pump hooks up to.

One room in the basement has wood paneled walls and behind one wall is just cinder block. The block has some moisture coming through, but the home has grading issues and gutters that need to be addressed. We are having those things taken care of starting Monday.

I'm just going on a limb and since the wood floors aren't showing any water damage, the water coming in has been minimal so the grading/gutter work (pvc pipes directing water away) should handle it.

We plan on having the cinder block wall painted with drylock and the wood paneling removed and drywall added to the whole room.

Am I missing anything?
