Strange Bugs (coming from drains?)

I found a post similar to what I am referring to on this site, here:

The bugs I am talking about are more clear/white/off white in color and are extremely fast. They aren't found in plants as I don't have any in the house. I first noticed two just this week in the basement, and one in the bathroom (the basement steps come into the bathroom). I had always assumed or had been told that these bugs come from sewer lines, or rather drains into your house. I remember finding one or two in the sink in my college dorm, so I was always inclined to believe this. My question is, is there anything I can do - put something down the drains, etc, to help in keeping these bugs out of the house. I have two floor drains in the basement and feel they may be coming from these. Anyone else with such an experience or any advice, PLEASE respond - these bugs are truly gross and I want to get rid of them!!

Sounds like Silverfish. Google Silverfish and you will find all the info you need.

Maybe the floor drains dried out. For starters, pour some water into them.
