| I found a post similar to what I am referring to on this site, here:
http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/houseplt/msg1022510324816.htm l The bugs I am talking about are more clear/white/off white in color and are extremely fast. They aren't found in plants as I don't have any in the house. I first noticed two just this week in the basement, and one in the bathroom (the basement steps come into the bathroom). I had always assumed or had been told that these bugs come from sewer lines, or rather drains into your house. I remember finding one or two in the sink in my college dorm, so I was always inclined to believe this. My question is, is there anything I can do - put something down the drains, etc, to help in keeping these bugs out of the house. I have two floor drains in the basement and feel they may be coming from these. Anyone else with such an experience or any advice, PLEASE respond - these bugs are truly gross and I want to get rid of them!! |

| Sounds like Silverfish. Google Silverfish and you will find all the info you need. |

| Maybe the floor drains dried out. For starters, pour some water into them. |
