I was halfway finished framing my basement when I found out the floor plate should be pressure treated lumber. So now I have half a basement with PT plates and half not. Is this going to be a problem when it comes time to get a CO? The basement is very dry-it's a walkout with huge windows.

If the AHJ notices you will get pinged.

A problem? It depends if your Code requires pt. Ours doesn't and I have never used it. Instead, I put the plate onto strips of 1" XPS. This stops the movement of moisture by capillary action and keeps the wood and drywall above any small floods that might occur.
