Storage room ceiling and walls, under addition

I'm posting in the basement forum because I have a similar situation with my ceiling in my storage room. It's not technically a basement, but it is a room UNDER the addition, and it has many of the same aspects of a basement, like a poured concrete floor, low exposed beam/ductwork ceiling (with tons of NAILS poking through it), bare walls, etc. It's kinda a big project I'm trying to do as cheaply as possible. I can get vinyl tiles from the Dollar General store for $10 a box. I can get paneling fairly cheap too.

I have pictures of the space I'm talking about. I'm using it as a cat room for my cat rescue operation. It needs a LOT of work, not limited to a ceiling. It also needs flooring (I'm thinking commecial vinyl tile) and paneling on the walls. The cats have begun to shred the insulation from between the beams in the walls. It WAS fully insulated and ready for paneling. I'll have to replace it now in a few places once I get paneling to put in. As you can imagine, this needs to be a VERY washable room. I'm thinking of using "bathroom" paneling for the walls, so I can wash them and cat pee wont soak into them. But that's another forum.. if you guys could just advise me on the ceiling, that would be great!

It's a VERY low ceiling, only 6'6" foot (luckily, me and my cats are all short, LOL)! I'm seriously just thinking of putting the exact same paneling I put on the walls on the ceiling too! Ovbiously, I will need to do some recessed lighting also. What do you guys think?
