| Our house was built in 2000, and in the unfinished basement there are 2 hole (each about 2 ft in diameter). I know for sure that one is a sump hole (and it has a sump pump in it). I have no idea what the other hole is for. It doesn't have a pump in it.
Any ideas? |

| If there are rough drain openings in the floor for a future bathroom, it is probably for the ejector pump that will "lift" the waste up to the height of your sewer or septic inlet. |

| Yes, it is right where the rough-in for the bathroom stuff is. I hadn't thought of that, but we are below the grade of the septic tank. Thanks. |
