Basement Doors and Jambs

Hi,

I am finishing my basement and my floor will be about 7/8" thick.
What is the best and fastest way to install the door jambs?

Directly on the concrete and then cut away 7/8" from the bottom when installing the floor?
Install the door Jambs 7/8" higher off the concrete floor right away?

Floors, then doors is the best sequence.

Yes that would be good but the floor is delayed and I don't want to waste time waiting for it.

Then put a piece of 3/4 PT board under each one and install them. Later, whoever installs the floors will trim the bottom of each jamb to get a snug look/fit..
