| Hi,
I am finishing my basement and my floor will be about 7/8" thick.
Directly on the concrete and then cut away 7/8" from the bottom when installing the floor?

| Floors, then doors is the best sequence. |
|
| Yes that would be good but the floor is delayed and I don't want to waste time waiting for it. |
|
| Then put a piece of 3/4 PT board under each one and install them. Later, whoever installs the floors will trim the bottom of each jamb to get a snug look/fit.. |
