Didn't See an appropriate forum for this, so, I'll try here...
The Knost Floodwall \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- My "Ex" and her husband, an engineer rode out Katrina. He decided that there had to be a "Better Way" and took about designing a truly effective floodwall. Had this been in place, I'm convinced that the devestation that struck New Orleans would have been minimized. There is a bituthane coating on the structure...not mentioned in the video. I would be interested in your "take" on this. It does have FEMA and Corp of Engineers approval. Right now, they are trying to get acceptance of the system. It well could be the "Better Mousetrap." Thoughts? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v\=ndYbg\-I5\_08
