| We are building a house. Is it very expensive to get an added 2nd laundry hookup in the basement? I am putting a laundry on first floor also but that is more for later when we are older. i would currently like to use the laundry area upstairs more as a mudroom.
How much do you think that adds to a price? |

| When you're building, not much, but definitely worth it. Supplies can go anywhere, keep it near a drain or add one before you pour the floor, and add venting. Then wiring and/or gas line for the dryer and washer and a through-wall vent for the dryer. Depending on the length of the gas line, $750-$1k max here, cheaper elsewhere for sure. |
