Remove toilet in basement

Posted by peaches20 (My Page) on

Hi all,

Can anyone give me an idea of the cost of removing an old toilet in the basement? The water was turned off a few years ago and we thought we could remove it but what do you do about covering up the hole? We would get alot more space if it were removed. Would a plumber be the best person for the job?

Thanks!

Peaches

You can purchase an expandable plug at a plumbing supply store. It won't be flush (no pun intended) with the floor, but will be a lot less in the way than the toilet.
