| My interior basement walls are 8' 6" high, so after I installed 1" XPS, the bottom 6" is still exposed. My question: Is it necessary that I "fill in" this bottom 6"? I'm thinking since it's 8' below ground, maybe its not necessary?
Thanks. |

| Don't know, but it's easy enough to do. (I use a serrated bread knife to cut that stuff.) |

| I score it with a sharp knife along a straight edge then snap it. |
