| We are doing a major renovation to our new house and added an extension in the back that included a new large gym room for the basement.
This is for a gym that will be getting much use, both my wife and myself work out regularly (4 times/week each, not at the same time) for years and this room was very important to us. The rest of the basement will have hardwood floors, but I have been seriously looking at the rubber flooring for the gym. It sounds like it would be more comfortable and meet our demands, I use free weights and do not want to worry about damaging the floor. Any particular brands or thickness recommended? I want the floor in the gym to be covered completely. I also have some heavy equipment that needs to be level at all times, especially while in use, would this be a problem? Thank-you for your time,

| Just realized this should probably be posted on the flooring forum. |

| I used g-floor mats. They are intended for garage floors but look awsome. I got the diamond tread pattern. Google it to get the best prices. |
