Basement Cost

Hello :)

We purchased a home with majority of the basement finished.

There are two rooms that were used for storage without drywalls and proper flooring that we would like to finish.

Assuming they are 10x10 in size each, how much should we expect to spend to get the drywalls put in, painted and some sort of flooring like rubber (for gym) and carpet for kids in the other room. And the lighthing...there is power supply just that they have some crude lamps hanging in those rooms.

thanks so much,

SZ

RE: Basement Cost

Are you really up for a carpet in the basement? underground rooms are mostly moist and needs maintenance so it won't get moldy, regular vacuuming to keep it clean and keep it dry always, use dehumidifier to maintain relative humidity whereas if you have a wood flooring, less likely to have mold growth
