Drain in the middle of basement floor

Our basement has the sewer backup drain (we're on an acreage) in the middle of the floor. I am wanting to lay down some flooring in the basement, but concerned that when their is a backup (generally 2 feet in diameter by the time I call the plumbers), the water will make a mess on my floor. The floor is concrete. Is there some type of barrier that I could put in to contain where the water goes? Like a concrete square wall 6-12 inches tall around it? I am just looking for an easy solution to this problem as I would like to make part of the basement a more finished area with that wall coming within 2 feet of where water will currently run (mind you this is not every day, but every 6-9 months I need to call the plumber and have them clean the line at a cost of about $100...I have 3 kiddos under 6 and have taught myself to get toys and underwear out of the toilet, so I count myself lucky :) )
