We have a 4 foot enclosed crawl space (that has a concrete floor, insulation between crawl space walls, and enclosed with sheetrock )below our master bedroom. It has never been an issue nor concern. Live in Northeast.

Now, the process of insulating the master bedroom floor was; they have batt insulation bewteen the joists; then they used maybe a 1" or 2" rigid blue styrofoam board, then, they attached plywood to that and I would assume, to the floor joists..

Now I am curious, I probably would of attached, the plywood first, to the floor joists, then the rigid board to the plywood? Make much of a difference?

I know I am anal, but looking at the crawl space from within, some of the plywoood does not sit right, coming loose etc, so I am now pondering adding some more rigid board, but sort of want to start from the begiining, rip it down, and make it look half way decent...

All in all, it may not much of a difference in comfort level anyways, right with the master bedroom?
