basement problems with frozen water

The house (bank owned) I am buying was flooded with 3 feet of water three months ago. Now the water is fozen. I like the house but afraid of basement or foundation damage. It is a 1956 split level with a finished basement under the livingroom (concrete floor and masonry blocks). I am pretty sure that I need to deal with mold problem. But would frozen water damage the foundation? What should I look for once water is pumped out (hopefully it will happen soon). Any hidden/future damage that may not show up? What would be the cost to fix the damage (need to negotiate price with bank). Additionally, the moisture level in the house is high. I think I will gut all the walls and ceiling to avoid future mold problem. How much would it cost (about 2000 square feet floor space -- open walls, replace insulation and drywall)? Thank you in advance for your help.
