Condo Board

We currently have 4 members on the board. It is an Illinois association. Two members vote in tandum so we wind up with a tie vote most of the time. Trying to add a new member ends up in a tie also.

How to get around this... any suggestions

RE: Condo Board

This is just silly.... why would any board be an even number? I suggest you vote out the people not allowing an odd number. Perhaps get a petition singhed by the majority of other owners, showing the board the entire association is in favor of 5, and letting them know the association will not vote back people based on voting history.

Good Luck!
