| my upstairs neighbor sits home all day and nite and collects her pension/soc security. Witch decided to torment me to get me to move out. Problem is it's a condo with a mortgage and I'm not a quitter. She knows the heater is connected and it's made of metal and it's in the bed room right next to my bed. It conducts sounds as clear as bell.
She knows I go to sleep at 10 and wakes up and 6am so she taps on the heater all nite long for until I wake up. I compained to the association and they said it was just heater expansion noise. I said wtf for like All nite? I've noticed when that crazy nothing better to do woman goes away for a day or too my heater is dead quiet.
somebody help me get even. |

| "get even" ... if that's all you want to do, get a 3-pound hammer and whack the pipe next to your bed real hard every time you hear what you think is her tapping on it. It's probably heater expansion ... when she leaves, she turns her heat off so the tapping noise stops. Wrap the pipe with some fireproof insulation material to soundproof it. And since when does being retired translate into "witch", "crazy" and "nothing better to do"? |

| I agree that it's probably heat expansion noises. Do you really believe that she stays up all night just to tap on the radiator?!! And what's wrong with being retired anyway? One day you will be too. |

| tapping is the cold water hitting against the hot pipes, when the heat is on for a while it will stop. I know this cause I live in a Brooklyn tenement and we have steam heat..... |

| Use pipe insulation. This should fit right over your copper lines. Why would she stay up all night long every night of the week? Did you do something to really upset them? If its forced air????? |
