Don't think there's much you can do as far as covering it up. Perhaps one of those air purifing machines but those tend to be expensive I think. Talk to your management office. Everyone in our building recently got a memo from our office reminding us that keeping noise AND the noise of guests was the tenants responsibility because of the complaints about several apartments lately (our upstairs neighbor being one of those problems). But the clause they quoted from the lease also included strong odors. If it's enough to be disruptive to your life, then they need to be told to stop or at least scale it back.
