Moisture in bathroom

Posted by selhal (My Page) on

The bathroom in my co-op apartment doesn't have a window and the only vent is a grill on the wall that is supposed to vent to the roof. When I shower there is a lot of moisture in the bathroom. Can I put an exhaust fan where the vent is? Has anyone done this and which fan did you use? Thanks

RE: Moisture in bathroom

If the bathroom does not have a window it is required to have a powered vent fan. In all probability it has one that presently is not working.
