ApartmentRatings.com is an excellent place to find nationwide reviews of apartments written by people who are current and former tenants. It saved my son and I from committing to what would have turned out to be a nightmare off-campus housing situation, and helped us find him the perfect place. Definitely worth looking into.

Lainy, I couldn't get that site to come up. But I wanted to add my .02 cents worth and mention that I have used www.Springstreet.com with good success.

When I moved to Los Angeles I used Apartment Hunterz. I didn't have any idea where to start looking, but they pointed me in the right direction
