carpet cleaning

My cat had a uti and pee'd all over our carpet and it smells horrible when the weather warms up. I've tried multiple cleaning methods and non seem to work.

If I get a carpet cleaning co. to come in, do I have to get permission from the complex manager?

Is there anything I can do?
