Extremely noisy neighbors

I've been living in an apt complex for about 1 1/2 years. It's been good up untill now. A guy moved in above me and he is always stomping around and slamming doors at all hours of the night. It's really irritating. My landlord asked me how things were going at the complex and I told her and then she told me that someone got their tires slashed in the parking lot. The people that live above me are the type of people that would do that kind of thing so I am afraid to say anything to them. I dont think the police could help since they have to catch them in the act. What should I do?

RE: Extremely noisy neighbors

Tell the landlord that you will be moving as soon as your lease is up because of the noise, unless THEY do something about the noisy guy upstairs.

And start looking for another place RIGHT NOW.
