 o
Fridge suggestions? Counter depth with trim kit

Posted by miriamcb (My Page) on

We'd like to put in a 48" counter depth fridge that looks built in, but without paying built in prices. The local appliance shop today suggested installing side by side 24" counter depth fridges, and adding a trim kit. She said this was a fraction of the cost, and possible with Fisher Paykel and Electrolux Icon.
Are there any other brands we can do this with? Any advice on which brands to avoid?
Thanks.

RE: Fridge suggestions? Counter depth with trim kit

There are very few 24" counter depth fridges and none of them have a "trim kit" that I know of.

Electrolux does not even have a 24" model period.

What they do have is a 32" wide all fridge and freezer that has a louver kit that fakes a built in look. 65" + is a lot of room for refridgeration.
