Need a small unit to melt butter and heat a bowl of soup or leftovers. Found this unit with a hard-to-believe rating and a footprint I'm salivating over. Please share your experiences or thoughts on this Whirlpool wmc20005YD. TY in advance.

I haven't got any feedback on it, but I will say that it's much cheaper elsewhere. Google the model number.

I own that microwave. I bought it from Lowes for about $30 cheaper. I imagine it isn't great for someone who uses a microwave several times a day. But, for someone like me who only uses one a few times a week and didn't want a behemoth on my counter, it's great. It fits my dinner plates plus my 4 cup pyrex measuring cup and there is a small bacon plate that fits it. The only downside is it is smaller wattage so it does take slightly longer to cook things and if you want to cook something for a long time it does take slightly longer to enter the time on this microwave since it is up/down style instead of numeric keypad. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
