bertazzoni opinions

I'm beginning the process of a total kitchen remodel and have been looking at a Bertazzoni 36" Heritage series total gas range. It has euorpean convect and self clean. I am dazzled by it! It appears to be solidly contstructed and it's so pretty! However I'm not too sure about its preformance. I have read some older posts but nothing recent. I don't personally know anyone who has one. Anyone out there who could give a reccomendation? If you own one what do you like about it, what don't you like? I would appreciate comments. Thanks -

I recently posted this one...very up to date. Though I don't have the euro version or self clean. Hope this helps.

I think they are pretty. :)

It's pretty, but underpowered for a "pro-style" range. There are plenty with more firepower available if searing or wokking is important to you. If you'd rather just stare at a pretty face while microwaving a Lean Cuisine, then it's a good choice.
