Unless you still have the tech sheets folded up and stowed on the oven somewhere you are pretty much restricted to parts selection diagrams. This one gives you a good (use full +) view of what to remove off the back to access the suspect switch after all power is removed, of course. There are three different possible part numbers, 15, 15a, 15b, that you will have to compare to what is in your appliance before you can order what you need. If it is just a matter of pushing the switch terminal wires back on/and forth to get it working again that would be lucky.

Bummer - no tech sheets. I do have the parts diagrams. Just thought someone here might have tech sheets to share or know where I could get them.I was hoping for something relatively simple to fix. I'll pull the range out and take a look at what my options might be.

I do know that Whirlpool replaced the original part with a new part. Wonder why?

I checked the part numbers at another source. The three different switch part numbers are for different panel colors (4314961 = black, 3149360 = white, 8273501 = biscuit) ... several parts are listed in three choices accordingly. Not unusual that part numbers substitute, either for a newer item that also covers newer/other models or for different vendor sourcing on the item.
