Thanks. How do those compare to the Zephyr Monsoon series?

The Modern-Aire Eurostove is $1500 shipped for the insert alone for the 600 CFM version for those interested.

The Zephyr is adequate for most people.

A direct Zephyr competitor is Kobe.

Modern-Aire and Prestige are the BEST.

You did not ask for adequate. You asked for the BEST.

I know. Just posted the price since its not available on the Eurostove website.

I think out of those excellent choices and links you provided that the Prestige might be the biggest bang for the buck.

Thanks for shedding light on where the Zephyr ranks.

Gotta say I am leaning to the Prestige based solely on your recommendation and its reputation here at GW.

So I am going to pull the trigger on the Prestige.

Is there anything else I need to use it as a power pack inside a cabinet style hood? It has a 6" vent --- should I buy the 6" to 8" adapter so I can run a 8" vent straight up through the roof?
