Any half competent HVAC contractor should be able to do the job. Call the folks who service yours. What you don't want is some unlicensed and uninsured handyman.

Thanks hollysprings for the response. The HVAC guy will only do the duct running if necessary but he will not install the vent hood. We currently have a vent hood we are looking to replace without taking it down, it's hard to say if we would need a new duct.

I agree we would definitely want a licensed contractor but it seems like the two appliance installer names given to me by our local vent hood dealer aren't licensed. At least I cannot look up their info by name on the contractor license board.

At this junction, it seems like our HVAC guy can run new ducting if possible and prep up the space and have an installer install the new hood. I'm trying to find a licensed and good latter one. Thanks.
