List your appliances here...

Posted by ctychick (My Page) on

Not sure if this has been done, but as I contemplate my remodel, I'm curiuos to see what "mix" of appliances people have in their kitchens (ie, pro-lines w/standards, all pro, etc.)

I haven't finalized my appliance choices yet, but here's what I'm thinking...

Wolf rangetop
Wolf double wall ovens (or double GE)
Wolf Warmer
GE Advantium Micro/oven
KA Dishwasher
Sub-Zero fridge

RE: List your appliances here...

I haven't bought yet, but the cabinet order is going in with these appliances:

GE advantium 240 built in
GE profile convection wall oven
KA counter depth French door refrigerator
KA dishwasher (mid line)
Kenmore 30" induction cooktop
KA downdraft

I'm still considering an instant hot, but it's great to have all the others decided!

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

GE Advantium 120
Bertazzoni 30" range
KA counterdepth refrigerator
Bosch Integrated dishwasher

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

Bluestar range
Broan 64000 range hood
Kenmore top-freezer fridge

Basic small microwave

Nothing matches, everything works

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

Miele DW
KA SXS Fridge
Whirlpool Velos MW
Fisher Paykel DO
Sears Kenmore Induction cooktop
None of my appliances are by the same manufacturer. I have always had appliances matchy matchy before, but never really been satisfied with how they worked for me. At this stage of my life, I want stuff that will work the way I work and if it matches... o k. If not, o k too.

RE: List your appliances here...

Here's my list along with my general assessments:

KA dishwasher drawers - love them due to ease of loading and unloaded; bottom drawer is noisier than I expected, however

KA full-size FD Fridge - love the configuration (fridge on top, freezer on bottom) since we access the fridge so much more often than the freezer.

KA wine chiller - we got this more as a place to store wine (which always sat on a counter before). It's fine, but so far I haven't found the optimum temperature (reds are too cold)

Viking 36" 6-burner cooktop - love the looks, works fine, but not "to die for". At this point, I'd prefer a rangetop with equal size burners; the locations of the knob that matches each particular burner is non-intuitive; simmer isn't great

Kobe RA-094 hood - just installed yesterday, so no comments yet, but it looks really good

KA 27" convection wall oven - so far, so good (I haven't really figured out yet what makes one oven better than another)

Insinkerator instant hot water - love it, use it constantly

KA trash compactor - love it, particularly 1) the fact that the side tips out for easy bag removal, and 2) there are "buttons" to hold the plastic bags in place

GE spacemaker microwave - perfect - small, not built in, on/off turntable

 o

European POV here:

Stoves stainless steel double oven
Stoves stainless steel 5 burner gas hob & hood
Whirlpool built-in fridge freezer
Zanussi freestanding fridge freezer (resides in the utility room)
Miele fully integrated dishwasher
2 Miele washing machines
Bosch tumble dryer

Wesellit - curious as to the brand of your washer? I see your also in the UK and I've never heard of that brand before! (P.S. we bought our Miele washer and dishwasher from you).

Jon

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

Sorry Aquarius, don't be curious it is a complete pile of....

I am working from a rented house in Spain at the moment and the appliances here are awful, at home in the UK it's

Miele washing machine and dryer (nothing is better than a Miele laundry appliance as I am sure you know)
Smeg st/steel fridge frezer
Smeg Oven
Smeg Hob

alas the Kitchen's too small for a dishwaher

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

2 - Miele Optima
Sub-Zero 700BCI
Sub-Zero 650G/S (yep, glass door)
Wolf 48" range with grill
Wolf 54" pro hood
Panasonic convection micro behind closed doors
Bosch 500 Washer and Dryer

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

Just replaced/added some stuff (range, hood and DW new as of 11/06). Current lineup

Bluestar 36" range w/ grill (replaced 1991 Thermadore) - its wonderful !!
42" VAH island hood (600 cfm). Its somewhat weak for BS range but only real option in our case - noise not bad though
LG 7811 series DW (replaced 1991 KA) LG maybe was a mistake - doesn't perform like the KA (but is quiet).
Sub zero fridge (550 series from 1991) - its dying a slow death will replace in a year or 2

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

Gaggenau double oven
Gaggenau K291 cooktop
Bosch dishwashers (2, because we are lucky to have the space)
GE Monogram Hood
SubZero 736 fully integrated refrigerator

We are pleased with all except the Gagg cooktop, which has extremely powerful burners but has required a fair amount of service calls.

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

All on order for our under-construction house to beat end of year price increases:

Wolf dual fuel 48" range with griddle
Subzero 48" refrigerator
Viking 60" range hood insert with 1200 cfm external blower
Jenn Air dishwashers (2)

Have not settled on undercounter beverage center yet - am considering a Summit.

As for the microwave, we have a cabinet space for a free-standing one, but I view it as a semi-disposable appliance. I'll find one I like the look and price of after we move in.

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

Wolf 36" Rangetop
Wolf 30" Double Ovens
Wolf 30" Warming Drawer
GE Monogram Advantium 240
Subzero 695 48" Built-in Refrigerator
Subzero 24" Beverage Refrigerator
Asko Dishwasher

I've been using all for about 6 months and love my choices. I don't think I'd change a thing.

 o

RE: List your appliances here...

Now that we've been using everything regularly, and enjoying all our new appliances, I'm ready to post our list:

DCS RGT AG 36" range
DCS Euro style hood
KA FD 36" refrigerator - Architect series
KA Architect Series DW (can't remember the model number - 12 place setting capacity, pot scrubber, etc.)
20 year old tiny Kenmore microwave that won't die
KA Ensemble washer and dryer

I really didn't set out to buy so many KA appliances. They just had all the features we wanted, and the look we wanted, and I got a good package deal from our appliance dealership. So far, we love everything.

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

Fridge #2: GE Profile (replaced avacado green Frigidare when it finally died for good)
DW: Kitchenaid KUDR24SE (replaced avacado green KA Superba that had a bad door)
MW: countertop Sharp (20+ years old and still going strong)

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

I am building a house. This is my appliance list:
-Subzero 736 Integrated all Fridge
-Subzero 601 Panelled All Freezer (36") , I was thinking of the Integrated 700TF which is the integrated all freezer but it is smaller, so I went with the 601 instead. The fridge is in the main kitchen, and the freezer is in the pantry
-SRT366 Wolf Rangetop with 6 burners, still toying with the idea of 4 burners plus griddle option
- either Ventahood (2 or 3 blowers?) or the Wolf liner and blower - any advice?
-Wolf double wall ovens
-miele dishwasher G2470SCVI
-LG washer WM2688
-LG dryer DLE8377 - after reading some of the comments regarding service from LG, I am going to have to really look at this choice.

I was looking at the Wolf RT366 at first - but I like the closed burners on the SRT366.

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

We're about to embark on a double kitchen remodel for a 2-family house (savings are so overrated). Here are our leading candidates:

for our unit:
Thermador SGS365CS 36" 5-burner cooktop
Bosch HBL5045 30" wall oven (possibly under cooktop)
Amana AFI2538AES french door fridge (Maytag MFF2557HEQ might be on a super-sale though and I might give up the filtered water for half price)
Bosch SHX46A05UC dishwasher w/top-rack-only setting
old, beat-up Costco bought microwave for now
Zephyr AK2536 36" 695 cfm hood

for in-law unit:
Hotpoint gas range which came with house
Maytag dishwasher which came with house
2nd fridge, probably the Amana or Maytag
Zephyr AK2536 36" 695 cfm hood
Bosch Nexxt 500 series washer and dryer (holding off on owner's unit stuff until we regain some disposable income -- maybe an Asko set eventually?)

I do some wok cooking, have filled several apartments with smoke using our old crummy rental unit ranges sans ventilation, still not sure if 695 cfm is hideous overkill or not (the Thermador is combined BTUage of 55K, so theoretically 550 cfm is enough). Also toying with the idea of a wine fridge, but the idea of spending as much on my wine fridge as my regular fridge just seems too ridiculous to take seriously.

If anyone has a much better idea, I'm ready to hear them!

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

Electrolux Icon counter depth fridge (in my temporary kitchen/laundry room)
De Dietrich 308 induction cooktop (in a box on my dining table)

Gaggenau convection oven (to be installed undercounter)
KA refrigerator drawers
Marvel 15" beverage fridge
(these three items on a truck somewhere between here and Michigan)

Dishwasher (FP drawers? yet to be ordered)

Its interesting reading the different combinations you all have chosen. Each kitchen is personal and unique!

So much agony and frustration, so much pleasure and satisfaction - a list can say a lot ;)

Elizabeth

RE: List your appliances here...

I have seen many Kenmore and Di Dietrich Induction Cooktops listed here. I have just started doing some research on them, and am liking what I read.
What was the deciding factor to go with the brand you picked. Also, was there any changes in cabinetry made to fit induction cooktops?
How did you pick your oven to go under. Did size become a factor?
Very Curious.
One last thing. Where can you go to see a kenmore in action??
Thanks

RE: List your appliances here...

I listed my appliances back in December. We're in and using them now and thought I'd update with impressions ...

Bluestar range (model #RNB366BSS)
-six burner with both 22k burners (front right and front left) up front and simmer in middle back
-island trim
The Bluestar range is pretty amazing. I used it to stir-fry (love that pull-out burner grate center) for the first time last week and wow, I am totally impressed. The difference high heat makes here is amazing. I’m still working on getting the burners to go lower for simmering. Even the simmer burner is too hot as is and the yahoo they sent out to fix it hadn’t a clue. (He actually told me, "What you have here is a Wolf knock-off—these burners are made by Wolf, but just not as good as what they use on their own units;" and while it is arguable that Wolf is as good or better than Bluestar, I know they don’t make the burners for Prizer-Painter.) Water boils almost instantly and the range has been easier to clean than I’d imagined it would be too. I love the open burners a lot more than I thought I would, too—great heat, easy to clean, easy to use.

The downside is that there is weld mar on the front of the stove door (you can see it in the picture in the gallery—top right side) and the oven door and, as well as the knobs and drip tray get really (REALLY) hot when you use the oven. The broiler also isn’t as great as I remember it when testing at Eurostoves—it cooks very unevenly with items in the back turning to charcoal before items in the front even get hot.

Prestige High Capacity hood insert 40" (UIBTF400EC15) with Prestige remote blower for pitched roof 1,600 CFM
The hood works well and is reasonably quiet, though it needs to be pretty high (and therefore louder) before it does a great job. A HUGE improvement over my old micro-hood (and quieter to boot), so no real complaints here.

GE Profile Advantium (SCB1001KSS)
I’ve only fiddled a bit with the Advantium’s speed cook features and, so far, haven’t been blown away, but it works great as a microwave, is very roomy and I’ve used the melt and soften features a lot. It’s also a truly admirable warming drawer and, though I thought I’d very rarely use it in that capacity find myself using the "warm" function almost daily. Go figure.

2 InSinkErator Evolution Excel garbage disposals with air switches (STS000)
I haven’t found anything that can stymie the Evolution garbage disposals, including lemon wedges and potato peels. (I know, I know, don’t lecture me I’m still gonna’ do. The eventual "consequences" are less a pain than futzing with wet, sticky peels all the time.) They’re also amazingly quiet. I’m very impressed.

GE Monogram 30" double oven (ZET2SLSS)
The GE Monogram double oven is awesome. I love the glide racks; the controls are easy to use and read and it holds a very consistent temperature. I’m very, very happy with this choice and glad I didn’t spend more for the Wolf or new model Dacors I was also looking at.

Jade 48" Side by Side Refrigerator (RJRS4870A)
The Jade fridge is a bit of a dud. The pull-out shelves are nice, as is the stainless interior and temperature controlled drawers, but I could have had almost all of that in a Jenn-Air built-in for $500+ less. Wish I’d saved my money or, even more so, wish I hadn’t let people talk me out of the Monogram all-fridge, all-freezer I REALLY wanted.

2 Bosch Integra 800 dishwashers (SHV99A13UC)
The Bosch dishwashers work reasonably well. I wish they were quieter, but they do a good job and are pretty soft; just not silent.

Gaggenau 24" Steam Oven (ED 220/221)
I’m reserving judgment on the steam oven until I learn how to use it. So far, just trying to steam some veggies, I’m not impressed. (It takes FOREVER at their suggested temps/time.)

GE Monogram 24" stainless steel wine reserve (ZDWR240PBS)
The Monogram wine fridge is super quiet holds a consistent temp and works great. Still don’t know if this an essential appliance (especially for red wine drinkers like ourselves), but my husband likes it and it looks pretty. If nothing else it holds our wine really well. :-)

Jenn-Air 36" counter-depth side-by-side fridge with dispenser (JCD2295KES)The Jenn-Air fridge we’re using for our beverage fridge is quiet and does what it’s supposed to. If it was my only fridge though, I’d think it was way, WAY too small. I do really like that the water dispensed is not only filtered, but chilled. A really nice touch.

RE: List your appliances here...

I've lived with the following for 2 years now, and am as happy with them as the day they were installed in my remodeled kitchen and house. Have never had a problem with any of them...of course, I read all the operating manuals before I began using them, and I think that made a huge difference.

Range: Wolf, Dual Fuel - 30-inch
Hood: Wolf, sized for range, externally vented
Fridge: SZ 650
Dishwasher: Fisher & Paykel Dish Drawers (my second set. I had a set in my last house -- have had 7 years of experience with F&P DDs, and just love them. They are an amazing addition to the kitchen!)
Washer & Dryer - Fisher & Paykel

RE: List your appliances here...

We started our DIY kitchen remodel almost exactly one year ago.

Wolf 30" AG range - I like the cooktop but not impressed with the gas oven. I should have got a electric built-in oven. I hate bending over to get things out too.

JennAir 36" SS Curved Under-Cabinet Hood (JXT5836ADS) - It is better then the old one that was 36 years old and hadn't worked for 20 years.

JennAir 48" SS side by side Built-In refrigerator (JS48PPFXDA)- I like the way you can fit alot in but be able to see everything and not have it get lost in the back.

GE Triton XL dishwasher - It was only 3 years old when we did the remodel so kept it. It still works great. Dressed it up with a SS panel so it goes with all the other SS appliances.

Daewood SS (inside) convection microwave - It can roast, grill and brown meat.

Oster convection toaster oven (new 2007) - Fourth one since the remodel because I keep taking them back. They just don't make good toaster ovens anymore. I killed the last one with the remodel that took 7 months because we used it several times a day every day. It was an old Black & Decker, but now they are junk.

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

JennAir CD FD refrigerator
GE Monogram Pro range top
GE Monogram double ovens
GE Monogram refrigerator drawers
Cuisinart Microwave

Just finished the kitchen two days ago. Love the full extension racks on the oven and the looks of the oven when it is on. Love the range top, and love, love, love the refrigerator drawers. The JennAir is better than I thought it would be. The refrigerator was the most difficult decision because I thought the interior plastics were flimsy and the refrigerator quite small. I think it would be difficult to live with a counter-depth refrigerator if you didn't have a spare in the garage.

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

Cooktop - De Detreich 309x induction
Oven - Wolf 30" Wall ovens
MW - Wolf conv/micro
DW - Miele incognito
Refrig - KA 48" BI
Warming Drawer - Miele

I love all my appliances, especially my induction cooktop. The only thing I am disappointed in is my Wolf ovens, they take a long time to preheat and the upper oven takes a good 5 minutes longer than the lower oven.

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

Lacanche Cluny 1400 (but I just had a great time on the UK site after seeing the Macon since we don't have that here).
Vent a hood 52" insert (will be built out to 56" to cover stove.
Kitchen Aide Architect Series II Dishwasher
Kitchen Aide Architect Series II Trash Compactor
Sub zero 641? (French door freezer and fridge 36" if I have the model number wrong).
Warming drawer is included in our Lacanche
Insinkerator 1hp in main sink, 3/4 hp in prep sink
My favorite appliance, Delonghi EAM 3500 espresso/coffee machine
Did I get everything :) LOL and we expect install Aug 20th ish

Currently we're using a 1900's microwave, cheap toaster oven and very nice camp stove...three burners mind you! Oh and a horrible "Stainless but not really" fridge from sears.

Indoor Kitchen:
KA 48" Built-in Fridge
Miele Incognito DW
De Dietrich 309X Induction Cooktop

Have had all for almost 2 years and I'm ecstatic with all of my choices and the performance. I admit I haven't used the DCS stove yet.

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

Well, now that I've gotten started on replacing things here's where I stand:

Blue Star range
Kobe hood
Liebherr fridge
Cooktek induction units
Bosch Integra DW
Weber Charcoal grill
Barbecue pit (custom built)
Masterbuilt turkey fryer
Microwave - no name brand for $60 at Wal-Mart

Of all this stuff, the only ones (indoors) I'm actually impressed with is the range and the induction units. I think they have actually made my food better and expanded the range of things I can prepare. I did a rack of lamb the other night and it was amazing!!! The fois gras I did last weekend came out downright silken. And for the first time, I pulled off a perfect risotto instead of just a decent one. This was all on the BS.

I love the induction unit for cooking things that splatter grease since cleaning around that thing is so super easy. So far, I've used it to saute bacon and veggies, I made an omelette which was really an experiment, but it came out quite nicely but I'm still more comfortable doing them over gas. It boils water like a champ and best of all, it helps keep the heat down in the kitchen, so as I learn how to cook without lifting the pan off the cook surface, I'm sure I'll use it more and more, reserving the gas range for roasting, broiling and Winter cooking.

The rest of it was bought more for a look, with the hope that they will function reliably and well, than because they perform especially well in any particular regard. On that dishwasher (I've only had it for a few days now) I've just pushed autowash and let it go. Someday, perhaps I'll figure out what all those other cycles do and maybe even use them. Even so, I have no performance complaints yet, and the fridge is doing just what I bought it to do -- sit there looking pretty and keeping a few things cold.

RE: List your appliances here...

My kitchen has been done about 2 years now and here's my list:

DW - Bosch SHX46 or 56.
Cooktop - Wolf drop-in. Love the lighted dials.
Hood - Gaggenau.
Oven - Bosch 700 series single.
Microwave - some sort of small Sharp oven.
Fridge - don't recall. Kept the old one. (Eyes on Liebherr 30" or the F&P flat door fridge if/when this one gives even a hint of trouble). Probably won't since only ~4 years old :-(

Man, I have changed my list many times over the past couple of months, but I settled on the following:

Range: GE Cafe Dual Fuel
Microwave: GE Cafe
Refrigerator: Samsung Quattro

No more waffling, this is what I have decided. I can't wait to start using these appliances in 2 weeks...a much needed upgrade over my 20+ year old appliances.

RE: List your appliances here...

GE Mongram w/convection oven - hate it, does not consistantly keep temp., irritating timer. Use to make a terrible noise like it was going to explode. Had to have a service guy come out several times to fix it. I'm afraid to use the self clean mode, it might actually explode!

GE Monogram microwave with convection - does not cook foods well, always undercooked. For the price I paid should yeild better results.

36" GE Mongram range w/4 burners and grill - okay but takes forever to heat up.

GE Monogram hood
GE Monogram diswasher w/ hidden controls - doesn't clean very well, end up having to rewash the plates and utensils sometimes even 3 times!

Jen-Air SS fridge - okay but I liked my Whirlpool gold one better. More room on the doors and shelves, what a let down.
I didn't have a choice with brands for appliances (builder was Toll bros.) I'm moving and I am looking at Wolf and Thermador (had a Thermador in my last house and LOVED it)
Would NOT recommend a GE product to ANYONE of anything they sell.

Brew Express Built-In Coffee Maker

I eliminated the KA Trash Compactor based on my readings here. With the exception of the coffee maker, all of my appliances have been chosen as a result of what I had read from this site.

Previous Choices:
Viking 36" DF Range, Viking 27" Wall Oven, Viking Microwave, Viking Warming Drawer, Bosch Integra 36" French Door Refrigerator w/Panels, KA Dishwasher Drawers w/Panels

It has been hard to give up the dream of the beautiful Viking appliances in Cotton White.

RE: List your appliances here...

Dacor 30" single wall oven -- Does ANYONE have the "Preference" style oven and know of specific problems? I love the blue water finish that will go great in my new kitchen, otherwise probably Renaissance s/s
Viking 30" gas cooktop -- difficult decision and hoping repair problems common a few years ago are resolved
Advantium microwave stacked over oven
Vent-a-Hood under cabinet
Frigidaire dishwasher which I already have -- only disappointment is that it is a black finish and other appliances will be s/s
I don't need a new fridge right away but as soon as I do, I love the french door style with lower freezer and am convinced after reading in Gardenweb forums that Subzero is the way to go.
Would love some input!

RE: List your appliances here...

I'm not remodeling, but this is my average appliances:
Kenmore gas range
Whirlpool sxs fridge
Kenmore micro
Kenmore compactor
ISE 777ss 1hp disposer
The dishwasher is another story. Replaced a Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher with a Maytag tall tub in 06. Cleaned great, but I couldn't stand 2+ hour wash times. Found a rebuilt Kitchen Aid from the 80s on Craigslist for $100. Sold the Maytag and now have a 20+ year old dishwasher that runs max 70 minutes on the longest cycle! Loud as hell, but I love it!

Amana French Door Bottom Freezer
Whirlpool Quiet Partner IV
Built in KitchAid Oven Micro, both Convection (never use that feature)
Jenn- Air electric Cooktop

I love this blog. I am getting ready to build a new home and need new appliances. I will not buy any of the brands I have now since they are Whirlpool. I posted a long blog about my Combo and DW related to Whirlpool. In a nutshell: Micro was made in 2002 and Magnatron has shot craps 3 TIMES. 1st time after only 1.5 years. Last time I had to pay $700 to fix it. Asked WP for reimbursement of at least parts cost-told too bad so sad. DW control panel went out after only 4 mos (just got it in April '08 at NE Furniture Mart). We wanted a new unit since this is a major thing to go out. Attitude of retailer and WP was the same- tough. We only use the DW twice a week. It is not that quiet either.

Love my Amana. Too bad it is WP also. It holds everything and stuff is easy to find. Black glass top Jenn-Air is impossible to keep clean. STREAKY!!! Have to clean and clean and clean. Also, if anything splatters on it that is high in sugar THE GLASS MELTS. It leaves a big crater. Dials are placed in front corners at an angle and big pans can touch and melt them. Love the down draft fan. Very powerful.

Thanks to all who listed their brands here. I got a great list to look into for the new place.

New construction - appliances in but we won't be until late October so I cannot comment on performance:
Subzero BI-48 (psyched for this new line/model)
Wolf 6 burner + grill cook top (friends love theirs)
Wolf hood + blower (if I'm going to grill indoors hoping they know how to get rid of the odor)
Monogram ZET2 double oven (my criteria were: quick warm up, quiet fan, solid performance and appearance)
Thermadore warming drawer (recommended by kitchen designer)
2 Miele Excel dishwashers (due to this forum)
Wolf Microwave (didn't have time to research, got a very deal on it so took it)

Granted, it's a bit of a mix of brands, but all have professional line appearance so it seems to work well. Will add more after a couple months of use.

RE: List your appliances here...

Stumbled upon this old thread via google search...found it really interesting...bumping it up in hopes of any of the MANY posters from '06-'08 can give their 2-4 yr. Follow up.

Would also like to see the 2010 people revive this thread to compare/ contrast those decisions " back then" vs now

Hope this takes off the way the original OP got it going!!

 o
RE: List your appliances here...

guess this bump up didn't take off, would be interesting to see reviews of tried, tested and remaining true appliances. we'll give it another try!

RE: List your appliances here...

I'm in. Next week I will get

Bosch 800 double ovens
Bosch 500 30' induction cooktop
Bosch 500 otr microwave
LG 25 c.f. 34.1/4deep french door fridge
Elux refrigerator drawers
KA fancy dishwasher

And the second microwave in about a month. Panasonic inverter to fit in a shelf.

Two fridges, two microwaves, double ovens and likely a Breville smart oven. All in a 10x18 kitchen. No art, no decor, all business, except for a flat screen tv and a laptop cubby. Very happy.

Viking dual fuel range: LOVE it!

Viking cabinet depth bottom mount refrigerator: no complaints.

Zephyr vent hood (Typhoon series): It performs great. It is not too loud and removes steam and odors well. However, I have had trouble with contoller board twice in the 2 years I've had it. The first time it was under full warranty; the second time, it was a parts-only warranty.

Sharp Grill 2 convection/microwave: Very pleased. It is probably more versatile than I know. Need to read the instruction book.

Magic Chef wine chiller: Two zones. Does what it is designed to do.

Admiral dishwasher: This was purchased a couple of years before our kitchen remodel. The old one croaked and I needed something to tide me over until the remodel. The one I bought was an on-sale floor model at HD. When it came time to buy a new one, I didn't. Although this is an extremely cheap DW, it does the job and does it well, albeit loudly. I understand they are no longer manufactured.
