Breville Smart Oven error?

I just got an E01 error message on my Breville Smart oven (about 3 years old.) I searched the web for info and have come up w/very little--the manual just says it has to be handled by Breville and doesn't give any more info either. Has anyone encountered this? Something I saw online indicated it might be a fatal error message.. :(

Are you speaking from personal experience? After I had unplugged it for about 1/2 hour, I tried it again, and voila, it performed as usual. It seemed a little hotter than usual, so I reduced the temp, and I'll have to keep an eye on it--it may be in its last throes, but at least I got dinner done last night! :)

Have you contacted Breville? I had problems with mine when I first bought it (refurb) and the customer service was top notch.
