nxr gas oven

have a new gas nxr range with gas oven everything burns on top of food no matter what shelve food is baked on...oven keeps clicking on to maintain the temp...does the top of the oven (broiler) turn on to help oven heat up..maybe this element is burning top of food..??? any one else having food burned with this oven

Only if you select broil should the top come on.

Purchase or use an oven thermometer; see if the oven holds a steady temperature or not. Depending on what you see you may need service or cooking classes. ;)
