| hey gang, my wife and i have lived in our home for five years. We bought a sears kenmore washer when we first moved in. the kenmore dryer works fine. but the washing machine has bitten the dust. the spin cycle no longer works. clothes come out soaked. i really dont want to have a repairman come over and fix the problem knowing that it may break down again. we do at least one wash per day, some days multiple washings. i would rather save the hundred or two hundred for repairs and buy a new one. What can any of you out here recommend. Are the maytags really the most reliable? thank you for any tips.

| This is more of a kitchen kind of forum. You'll get plenty of good information over on the Laundry forum I bet. |

| We have a front loading Whirlpool duet and love it. Cleaner clothes (the cycles are a little longer), and less water usage. I've had it for about 5 years now, and still works like a dream. Good luck! |
