Have you looked at the new Bosch Benchmark ovens? IMHO, much nicer looking than Thermador (though they have the same BSH parent company) The side swing ovens have been getting very good initial reviews on GW so far and no interface issues. I will be ordering them in the next few months. Also going with Liebherr refrigeration over Sub-Zero.

If you don't like the interface and the beeps, don't buy it! There are too many other ovens on the market for you to settle on one you don't really like. I would keep the Thermador range top, those are pretty nice. My personal favorite ovens right now are JennAir, GE, Electrolux, and Bosch for midrange, Miele and Gaggenau for high end.

We were ready to buy the Thermador double oven until we went and tried out the buttons. They're super difficult to push, not sensitive at all.

Our one Thermador purchase was a 36" induction cooktop, which we couldn't demo anywhere. Fingers crossed that the buttons are more sensitive!

We ended up going with a recently retired Miele MasterChef double oven, which we hope will be installed next month.

Thanks for the ideas and updates ... we are most likely going to go with the Jenn Air .. since they offer the same deal as Thermador (Range Top + Double Oven = free dishwasher ) we won't mix and match. I'll take a look at the Bosch first though.
