X-posting from kitchens.. We are doing a fully integrated Miele 30"all-fridge and subzero freezer drawers. I expected all the cabinetry to be seamless and flush. We are doing framed full overlay custom cabinets. However the cabinet guy has built the cabinet boxes several inches deeper for the fridge than the adjoining drawer stack as he believes that the Miele door will hit the countertop when it opens. Can some one show me how their Miele fridge opens? Does it hit the counter next to it? The cabinet guy says he will not take responsibility for this if the fridge won't open right. See below for my plan. The fridge door handle is shown on the wrong side- my fridge is hinged on the right.
