Blue Star Small Oven

I recently purchased a BlueStar double oven. While the large oven works fine, I have had great difficulty with the small oven. The problem is that 30 seconds after ignition takes place it emits a rather large quantity of gas smell. I have had the local maintenance company for BlueStar out several times and they have changed the gas nozzle. None the less, the smell remains after the oven is turned on. The local sales distributor was here (tri-state) to evaluate. He agreed there was the gas smell. As he was in sales he did not look at the oven at all but tried to smooth things over by saying this was usual. I don't know if I should believe him or not. The place smells like my grandmothers old house after I use the oven. Please give me some advice as to whether this smell is usual for a small oven. Thank you.
