 o
Dacor Distinctive Gas Range ?

Hi -
I'm interested in replacing my problematic 30" propane Bosch range with a 30" Dacor Distinctive freestanding range (DR30GSLP). Wondering if any GW folks own a Dacor Distinctive range & what their experience has been with it?

I like it for the features it has, the oven size (4.8 cu ft), its clean looks & its reasonnable price (about $3K). I was also considering the Cuisine from American Range but am concerned it might overwhelm my 400 cfm zephyr exhaust fan (even though I'd probably never have the oven & more than 2 stovetop burners on at any given time).

I've heard that Dacor's reliability in the past few years has been iffy but their new 3 yr warranty seems to be a step in the right direction. Plus, this stove seems to have little to break on it, ie simple knobs & no self clean means no circuit boards to break.

Here's the vendor site:

Would appreciate any feedback or alternatives that I should consider. Thanks!
