 o
dehumidifier information wanted

Does anyone know of a good resource for comparison info on dehumidifiers? - I am spending some time in Florida and would like to keep a few things at a more regulated and lower humidity. There seems to be a big price difference between units I have seen. The obvious stuff like volume of water processed I under stand but would like to get some more insight into feature/cost comparisons. Since I have no reference point coming from a very dry desert area, I would like to get more educated on the subject before I purchase. Any advice or warnings are appreciated.

RE: dehumidifier information wanted

A dehumidifier is an air conditioner that vents the hot air back into the room. In FL, better results can be achieved by making sure your AC isn't oversized so that you can run it during periods of temperature that are close to the dew point and still achieve dehumdification.
