I would always choose the Bosch over GE. The additional bonus of putting a cabinet panel on front is, it wont show all the marks of wet/dirty hands from cleaning up. It takes standard hardware that you use on the rest of cabinets. Bosch does have some water pool in the bottom, so i always leave mine open a smidge to prevent it from getting to stinky inside. If this creeps you out to much, Miele is the way to go. The slate finish is very slick from GE ! Enjoy the new appliances !

I have a paneled BoschSHV68T53UC, so similar to the one you're looking at (800 series, installed in Jan. 2014). We think its great - extremely quiet, cleans great (we continue to use Finish tabs (not the Quantum) that were provided initially because our dishes come out sparkling with them. Others have had to test different detergents, presumably due to water hardness/softness issues. I will say that although most of the spacing is fine, there is one area in the front left quarter of the bottom rack where I think the spacing is too tight, so I use that for bigger pieces that lay over the tines. My dishes otherwise fit well.
