We have a Marvel bar fridge that's brand new. We got it mid August.

Anyway, it was making a strange noise whenever the compressor was shutting down. I recorded it with my cellphone.

I took the back of the fridge and saw that the fan has some play. It slides back when it shows down, and hits a copper pipe when it slows down.

To fix the problem I simply bent the copper pipe a little bit so that it is out of the way. Problem solved.
