I was looking for a simple low profile hood for our Bluestar to keep us till we renovate kitchen and settle on final hood we want.
I found Modernaire PS-16 which was low profile and I could install it as a under cabinet mount.
Well my expectations for around $600-800 for such a simple 30'' hood gave me a shock when I read the email.
$2600 with shipping makes me question if it comes with a jet engine or a pro chef that will also cook for us :)

I understand wall mount, lots of metal, curves etc. but such a simple design and in 30'' this is insane.
