Double oven range, LG vs Samsung vs yours

We are shopping for a double oven electric range $1600 and down.

Most of the year we cook for two but a few times a year we cook dinner for 25. I want a doublemoven somi can do a 21 lb ham in one oven and large casserole in another at the same time, different temps.

I have been using a ge profile with a drawer oven in the bottem for the casserole and large oven for the ham. Wen the hqm is done i do the rolls in the big oven, the rest on cooktop.

We are getting rid of that stove because we dont like the lack of safety on the gas cooktop and need a replacement. I thought i like the old arrangement because i couldmlift a casserole from the floor level to counter but didnt want to try to do that with a 21 pound ham plus heavy roasting pan at my age.

I am not sure if the lower, bigger oven on the samsung can accomodate a large ham. I am not sure if i want tomlift the ham from the lower oven on the lg.

Whats been your experience with these models? Do you have another one you recommend?

RE: Double oven range, LG vs Samsung vs yours

I have a Maytag double oven range that I love, and I do believe the bottom oven would fit a large ham; however, I will say that it is difficult at times to bend down and lift a heavy item from the lower oven to the counter. For me, it's still worth it because I don't use the bottom oven very often - the smaller, top oven is wonderful and I don't think I could give it up after having it!
