Lefthanded Cook Cooktop Question

Hey There. We're buying an old house and suspect we'll become regulars on this wonderful forum. The kitchen in aforementioned house hasn't been updated since 1913. This is fabulous, but we've got to make it functional. We're looking at 36" gas cooktops and are between a Bertazzoni, Miele, and Gaggenau. I was initially drawn to the looks of the Bertazzoni, but am concerned about the right hand controls. We currently have a Bosch cooktop with front controls. Any thoughts?

RE: Lefthanded Cook Cooktop Question

My mind must've drifted off. I think my question is: how do people feel about cooktops with the controls off to one side. It seems as though it might be awkward no mater your hand preference. Having to adjust the back left burner from clear on the other side of the cooker doesn't make much sense to me. Add having to reach over the fire with your left hand to do, and I'm really not sure. Do other lefties have any trouble with this?
