I've had a 48 inch BlueStar Range for eight years and NEVER use the grill because it heats completely unevenly. The back is hotter than the front by over 100 degrees and the left and right sides are uneven, too. I checked it with a laser thermometer, to be sure. And the size of the grate is too wide. I was wondering if anyone knows if the grill can simply be replaced with more burners or even a French Top (?). I seem to remember asking this question of the manufacturer a long time with no satisfactory answer but thought someone might have found a way.
