We eat a ton of rice, especially since my husband has celiac disease, and I am wedded to my rice cooker. But it's a honking big thing sitting on my counter, and I'm wondering if there's such a thing as a built in rice cooker. Ever heard of that?

Personally, I've never heard of a built-in rice cooker. But you could look into getting a steam oven. More and more manufacturers are adding them to their lineups, for example: Miele, Wolf, Thermador, Gaggenau. They supposedly make perfect rice, every time.

Thanks, MGDawg. I've seen references to steam ovens, but really should do a little research to find out what they are.
